There was tech service, engineering services and if you wanted to DO something else, you dealt with Engineering services almost daily until the problem was solved. TODAY the technology stack, hybrid smart inverters and battery pack options are enormous today. The programmability of these systems often have HMI units crafted into the comprehensive system and the amount of programmability is far superior than what was available 20 years ago. Like the GERERAC Pwrcell 2 one has the capability of a micro-grid for ones home energy needs. Adding smart home electric panels and software allows for a system that can be resiliency programmed to automatically step down and power shed loads for long term or critical circuit operations on solar PV and battery in perpetuity. Who needs off grid when grid agnostic is a viable choice? The future’s so bright, ya’ gotta’ wear shades.
